Annette Demirjian is an Armenian photographer and entrepreneur born and raised in Haifa. As the founder of Al Daw ( The Light ) , Demirjian has created a pioneering platform that teaches photography in Arabic across the MENA region. In addition to her work in photography education, she is also a skilled digital marketer.

Demirjian’s journey in photography began at the age of 12 when she acquired her first DSLR camera and taught herself through YouTube tutorials. Her passion and dedication led her to further her education with photography courses during high school. She later earned a B.Ed.F.A degree, specializing in photography and education, from the WIZO Haifa Academy of Design and Education.

Currently, Demirjian works as a freelance photographer and digital marketer. She is also the founder of Horizon Creative Agency, where she continues to blend her artistic expertise with her marketing acumen to deliver compelling visual content and innovative marketing strategies.
